Orange Marmalade by Caffè Sicilia from Sicilia Overview

Carlo and Corrado Assenza are brothers. With love and passion, they run the Caffè Sicilia, located near the fantastic but unlucky (it collapsed in 1996 due to an earhtquake) Cathedral of Noto, the Sicilian capital of baroque architecture. Their sweets cannot be described. In the already rich panorama of quality Sicilian confectionery production, they have managed to create a unique philosophy that finds a clear expression in each of their products: preserves, jams, and torrone (nougat). It's a simple philosophy, easy to say, but hard to be confined in a glass jar or a pretty box. It's the philosophy of absolute naturalness. And in a land where nature wears sumptuous robes, naturalness is anything but dull minimalism, it's sunny and fragrant. From citrus marmalades to preserves, torrone, almond paste (you can make a fabulous "almond milk" with it!) and pistachio paste, Caffe Sicilias fruit is handled in a way that lets it express its soft and seductive fragrance. It is wonderful to experience and taste how Carlo and Corrado manage to maintain this recognizable trademark in all its rich variety of flavors. The Preserves, the Jams, the Marmalades, and the Torroni (nougats) by the Caffè Sicilia confectioners are many!
